Payment
The company must ensure that the payment options for a product or service are clear and visible. Furthermore, the company must clearly explain how and when the consumer can pay, and whether any payment fees apply. The stated price must not be misleading.

Before the purchase, the company must clearly and visibly display the selling price to the consumer.

Deposits
If the company requires a deposit, this must be clearly stated in advance, including the applicable conditions.
In a consumer sale, the company may charge a deposit of no more than 50% of the total purchase price.

Online payments
The payment moment must be clear.
For online payments, the company must clearly indicate at which step the customer makes the payment. This is the moment when the agreement comes into effect.
Provide a button that clearly shows that payment is mandatory when customers click on it.
For example, a button stating “Order with payment obligation.”
A button with only the word “Order” is not sufficient. You may not mislead.
Note:
The company price must always be stated in Aruban florin. This is legally required in every offer. A price in a second currency,
such as US dollars, may be added.
