Confirming the content of the purchase

The company must clearly confirm the terms of the purchase in writing to the consumer

The company must provide written confirmation of orders, purchases, and contracts. This confirmation must include the agreements relating to the product or service. The company must ensure that all information provided is correct, complete, and clear.
For in‑store sales, such as purchases made in a clothing store, written confirmation is not required. In those cases, the payment receipt serves as confirmation.

Special rules apply to distance sale. These rules provide additional legal protection to the consumer.
